Jasjit Singh is
an Associate Professor of Strategy at INSEAD. He regularly teaches topics
related to Competitive Strategy, Strategic Innovation and Global Strategy in
INSEAD's MBA, EMBA, Executive Education and PhD programmes.
Jasjit’s
research interests include Strategic Management,
Innovation, Knowledge Management & Diffusion, Social Networks,
Economic Geography, International Business and Emerging Market Strategy. His research, which has won several awards, appears in
leading academic journals like Management Science, Journal of
International Business Studies, Journal of Law, Economics & Organization,
Industry & Innovation, and Research Policy. Jasjit also serves as
an Associate Editor for Management Science and on the Editorial Review
Board for Organization Science.
Jasjit earned
his Ph.D. in Business Economics at Harvard Business School. He also holds M.A.
in Economics from Harvard University, M.S. in both Management and Computer
Science from Georgia Institute of Technology, and B. Tech. in Computer Science &
Engineering from Indian Institute of Technology Delhi.
Prior to
joining academia, Jasjit worked as a management consultant with Accenture
(formerly Andersen Consulting) in Europe and India. Earlier in his career, he
also held internship positions as a computer engineer with Intel and AT&T in the
U.S., and Cadence Design Systems in India.
Jasjit, an
Indian citizen, is married to Pia, a Swede. They live in Singapore with their
two children, Pawan and Basant.
