* Some other projects in the areas of simulation optimization and mathematical modeling for health technology assessment, with focus on sequential sampling, uncertainty analysis, and the expected value of information.
Use of Bayesian statistics and decision-theoretic tools to improve decisions about business processes that are based upon simulation analysis, and to improve the efficiency with which those analysis are done (discrete optimization with simulation through statistical selection, uncertainty analysis, experimental designs). Applications include health care delivery, manufacturing, service operations.
Research on development and implementation of health care simulation software to inform health care control and policy decisions, particularly for infectious disease and vaccination program models. Focus on how modeling decisions may wittingly or unwittingly influence practical public health decisions.
